Comparison review
LG Q8 has a score of 77.2, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Alpha's global score of 76.3. Even being the best cellphone we compare here, LG Q8's body is somewhat thicker and a lot heavier than Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Both phones in our current comparison have Android OS, but LG Q8 has newer 7.0 Nougat version and Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4, so it gives a lot of extra features and some performance improvements.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with a bit superior processing unit than LG Q8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 4 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha also counts with a graphics processor. LG Q8 has a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a little bit bigger display, a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a much higher display pixel density.
LG Q8 counts with a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have equal internal memory, the LG Q8 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG Q8 features a much longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity.
LG Q8 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the LG Q8 also has a lot higher resolution back facing camera and a larger diafragm aperture.
