Comparison review

Motorola edge has an overall score of 89.6, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha's overall score of 76.3. Even being the best phone in this comparison, the Motorola edge body is heavier and noticeably thicker than Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Motorola edge has the previous 10 version while Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version.

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a bit sharper screen than Motorola edge, although it has a little inferior pixel count per display inch, a much lower 1280 x 720 resolution and a much smaller display. Motorola edge features a processing unit that's very similar to the processor in Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because although the Motorola edge has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with 4 more processing cores (although they are slower) and 4 GB more RAM memory.

The Motorola edge has a much better storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 224 GB more internal storage and an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB. The Motorola edge has a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.

The Motorola edge features a way better camera than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Motorola edge also has a lot higher 64 MP resolution camera and a bigger diafragm aperture.

The Motorola edge costs a lot more than the Galaxy Alpha, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
