The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is better than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, having a global score of 86.3 against 76.3. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but Motorola Edge 50 Pro has an older 14 version while Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4. Despite being the best in our current comparison, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro construction is way heavier and somewhat thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro counts with a brighter screen than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a much larger display, a higher display density and a way better 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Alpha, because it has more internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with a much better hardware performance than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster) and 10 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. Motorola Edge 50 Pro counts with a way better battery performance than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a much better camera than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video quality, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro also has a lot bigger aperture to take better low light captures and a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
