Motorola Moto G31 has a general score of 77, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Alpha's 76.3 overall score. Motorola Moto G31's design is heavier and much thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Motorola Moto G31 has the previous 11 version while Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version.

The Galaxy Alpha features a bit more powerful processor than Moto G31, because although it has a lower number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra GPU. Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with a bit better looking screen than Motorola Moto G31, although it has a lot smaller display, a just a little worse count of pixels per inch of display and a much lower 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.

The Moto G31 takes better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Moto G31 also has a way better 50 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a bigger camera aperture to take better captures in low light situations.

The Moto G31 features a way better battery life than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 169% larger battery size.
