Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a bit better than the Moto G8 Power, having a 76.3 score against 76. Both phones in this comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a newer 4.4.4 version while Moto G8 Power has Android 10 version. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a noticeably lighter and a lot thinner phone than Moto G8 Power.

The Galaxy Alpha counts with a little sharper screen than Moto G8 Power, although it has a lot smaller display, a quite worse pixel density and a way worse 1280 x 720 resolution. Moto G8 Power has a superior memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, because it has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a bit better processing power than Moto G8 Power, because although it has lesser cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processor. The Moto G8 Power has a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 169 percent larger battery size.

The Moto G8 Power has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Moto G8 Power also has a camera with lot more mega pixels and a much bigger aperture to capture better images and videos in low-light situations.

Although Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a better device, it costs more money than the Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G8 Power. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Moto G8 Power, resigning some features and specifications.
