Both devices in this comparison review have Android OS (Operating System), but Nokia 8 V 5G UW has the older 10 version and Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4. Although it's the best in this review, Nokia 8 V 5G UW's construction is much heavier and incredibly thicker than Samsung Galaxy Alpha.

Galaxy Alpha features a bit sharper display than Nokia 8 V 5G UW, although it has a way worse 1280 x 720 resolution, a little bit less pixels per inch in the screen and a lot smaller display. Nokia 8 V 5G UW features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a SD memory slot that supports up to 1000 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity.

Galaxy Alpha counts with a bit faster processor than Nokia 8 V 5G UW, because although it has lesser cpu cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit. The Nokia 8 V 5G UW features a much better camera than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Nokia 8 V 5G UW also has a much higher resolution back-facing camera, faster 60 frames per second video frame rates and a bigger aperture.

Nokia 8 V 5G UW features a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 142 percent more battery capacity.

Although Nokia 8 V 5G UW is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Alpha. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Galaxy Alpha, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
