Comparison review
Galaxy A71 has a global score of 87.5, which is much better than the Galaxy Alpha's 76.3 global score. Despite being the best in this review, the Galaxy A71 design is somewhat thicker and a lot heavier than Galaxy Alpha. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but Galaxy A71 has the older 11 version and Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha has just a little better processing power than Galaxy A71, because although it has 4 less cpu cores (but faster) and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional GPU. Galaxy Alpha has a slightly better screen than Samsung Galaxy A71, although it has a much lower resolution of 1280 x 720px, a really smaller display and a little bit less pixels per inch in the screen.
Samsung Galaxy A71 takes greater videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels and a larger aperture for better low light photos and videos.
Galaxy A71 has a very superior storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory. The Galaxy A71 has a way better battery duration than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 1860mAh.
Galaxy A71 costs more money than Galaxy Alpha, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
