Comparison review
Galaxy Fold has a score of 97.6, which is much better than the Galaxy Alpha's score of 76.3. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but Galaxy Fold has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4. Galaxy Fold is a much heavier and a little bit thicker phone than Galaxy Alpha.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a little more vivid display than Galaxy Fold, although it has a really smaller screen, a way worse resolution of 1280 x 720px and a little bit lower display pixels density. Samsung Galaxy Fold has a bit better processing power than Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy Fold shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have a back-facing camera with a 12 mega-pixels resolution and the same video resolution, the Galaxy Fold also has a way bigger aperture to capture better low-light images and higher video frame rates.
Galaxy Fold counts with a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 512 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Fold features a much longer battery life than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 135% larger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Alpha. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Fold, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, giving up some specs and features.
