Samsung Galaxy M30 is a bit better than the Galaxy Alpha, having an 82.4 score against 76.3. Although it's the best in this comparison review, the Samsung Galaxy M30 is a a lot thicker and notably heavier cellphone than Galaxy Alpha. These devices have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy M30 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4, offering lots of additional features.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha features a little better processing power than Galaxy M30, because although it has 4 GB lesser RAM and less cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an additional graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with a bit better screen than Galaxy M30, although it has a way lower 1280 x 720 resolution, a little bit inferior pixel number in each inch of screen and a really smaller screen.
The Galaxy M30 has much more storage for games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, because it has more internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy Alpha takes clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy M30, because although it has a lesser MP back facing camera and a tinier aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures or videos in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Samsung Galaxy M30 has a much longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
