Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Alpha, with a 79.3 score against 76.3. These phones have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a newer 5.1 version and Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4, so it provides the user a couple additional features. Samsung Galaxy Note 5's construction is thicker and noticeably heavier than the Galaxy Alpha.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha features a better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and faster) and a graphics processor. The Galaxy Note 5 features a more vivid display than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a way higher pixels quantity per inch in the display, a larger display and a much higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Galaxy Note 5 features a superior storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 32 GB more internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 captures clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also has a bigger camera aperture and a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 counts with a very superior battery duration than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 61% bigger battery size.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it costs more money than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Alpha, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
