Comparison review
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a global score of 80.4, which is a bit better than Galaxy Alpha's 76.3 score. Galaxy Note Fan Edition's design is a lot heavier and somewhat thicker than Galaxy Alpha. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha has just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has less processing cores and 2 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an additional GPU.
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a way better 1440 x 2560px resolution, a much greater screen density and a larger display. Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a much better memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a SD extension slot that supports up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have a 12 mega pixels resolution back camera, the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has a way larger aperture.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a way better battery duration than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Alpha. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Alpha, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
