Comparison review
Galaxy Note3 has a global score of 77.7, which is slightly better than Galaxy Alpha's 76.3 overall score. These phones have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note3 has the previous 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4. Galaxy Note3 is a noticeably thicker and a lot heavier cellphone than Galaxy Alpha.
Galaxy Alpha counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note3, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Alpha also counts with an additional graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Note3, although it has a bit worse screen density, a way worse 1280 x 720 resolution and a little bit smaller screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Note3 features a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 64 GB internal memory and an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note3 counts with a much better battery life than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 72 percent greater battery size.
Galaxy Note3 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have a F2.2 aperture, the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy Note3 also has a camera in the back with a higher resolution.
