Galaxy S6 Active has a score of 80.9, which is slightly better than Galaxy Alpha's overall score of 76.3. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but Galaxy S6 Active has a newer 5.0 version and Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4. The Galaxy S6 Active body is much thicker but notably lighter than Galaxy Alpha.
The Galaxy S6 Active features just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory, a faster graphics processor, more cpu cores and a 64 bits CPU. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a much better looking screen than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a way higher 2560 x 1440 resolution, way more pixels per inch in the screen and a bit bigger screen.
Galaxy S6 Active counts with as much memory for apps and games as the Galaxy Alpha, both of them have the same internal memory. Galaxy S6 Active counts with a really longer battery duration than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity against 1860mAh. Galaxy Alpha features a better camera than Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography and video, a worse video definition and a camera in the back with a much worse 12 MP resolution.
