Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, having a 76.3 score against 75.8. Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a noticeably thinner and notably lighter phone than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a bit faster processor than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha also counts with an extra graphics processor.
The Galaxy S7 Active has a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a much better resolution of 1440 x 2560, a little bit larger display and much more pixels per display inch. The Galaxy S7 Active counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory, the Galaxy S7 Active also has a SD card slot that supports up to 200 GB.
Galaxy S7 Active features a superior battery performance than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 1860mAh. Galaxy S7 Active's camera is just as good as the camera in Galaxy Alpha, and although the Galaxy S7 Active has a much bigger aperture to take better low light captures and video, they both have the same (4K) video definition, the same video frame rate and a same resolution camera in the back.
Although Galaxy Alpha is a better device, it is more expensive than Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S7 Active. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Galaxy S7 Active, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
