Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, getting a score of 78.1 against 76.3. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is a somewhat thicker and a lot heavier phone than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version, so it gives some nice extra features and increased performance.
The Galaxy S7 edge counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a way better 1440 x 2560 resolution, a larger display and much more pixels per inch of screen. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same (4K) video resolution and a camera with a 12 mega pixels, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge also has a lot bigger camera aperture for better photos and videos in low-light environments.
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 94 percent bigger battery size.
Galaxy S7 edge is a little more expensive than Galaxy Alpha, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
