The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a little bit better than Galaxy Alpha, with an 80.1 score against 76.3. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4. Although it's the best in this comparison, Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro's construction is a lot thicker and noticeably heavier than the Galaxy Alpha.

Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with more CPU cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a little sharper screen than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a lot more pixels per display inch, a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a bit larger display.

The Galaxy Alpha takes better photographs and videos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a lot smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have a 12 MP back-facing camera, the Galaxy Alpha also counts with a much better video definition. Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Alpha, because it has more internal storage and an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB.

The Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a way better battery life than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 142 percent bigger battery capacity.

Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Alpha. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy Alpha, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
