Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, with an 82.2 score against 76.3. Although it's the best cellphone we compare here, Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium's design is notably heavier and extremely thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit superior processor than Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with 4 more processing cores and a greater amount of RAM.
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a way better looking screen than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a much better pixels density, a much better resolution of 2160 x 3840px and a larger display. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a very superior memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB.
Xperia XZ2 Premium shoots better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger camera aperture and a camera in the back with way more MP. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a way better battery life than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 90 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Alpha. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, otherwise you can save some money and get the Galaxy Alpha, letting go a couple features and specs.
