Comparison review
The Xperia XZs has a global score of 77.2, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Alpha's score of 76.3. The Xperia XZs construction is noticeably heavier and thicker than the Galaxy Alpha. The Galaxy Alpha features a slightly better screen than Xperia XZs, although it has a way worse pixel density, a little smaller screen and a way worse 1280 x 720px resolution.
Sony Xperia XZs has a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Sony Xperia XZs also has a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha features a bit superior processor than Xperia XZs, because although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.
Sony Xperia XZs counts with a much longer battery life than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 56% larger battery capacity. The Xperia XZs features a much better camera than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xperia XZs also has a larger diafragm aperture, higher video frame rate and a way more MP camera in the back.
Although Xperia XZs is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Alpha. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Xperia XZs, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, letting go some features and specs.
