Comparison review
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a global score of 79.8, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Alpha's 76.3 global score. Both devices we compare here come with Android OS (operating system), but Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a newer 5.1 version while Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4, giving you a couple additional features. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a somewhat thicker and notably heavier phone than Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium and Galaxy Alpha both count with very similar processing units, and although the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has more RAM and a greater number of cores , they both have a 450 MHz GPU. The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has an 84% larger battery size.
Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Alpha. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Galaxy Alpha, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
