Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a score of 77.7, which is a bit better than Galaxy Alpha's 76.3 score. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has newer 8.1 Oreo version while Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite construction is thicker and a lot heavier than the Galaxy Alpha.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha features a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, although it has a just a little lower quantity of pixels per display inch, a way worse 1280 x 720 resolution and a really smaller display. The Galaxy Alpha has a little faster processor than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a lower number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics co-processor.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite shoots clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a 12 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also has a larger aperture to take better low-light photos and video.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a lot bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a superior battery life than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 3350mAh of battery capacity against 1860mAh.
