Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a general score of 81.2, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Alpha's 76.3 global score. Despite being the best cellphone in this comparison review, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a thicker and much heavier cellphone than the Galaxy Alpha. Galaxy Alpha features a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, although it has a little bit lower screen density, a way worse resolution of 1280 x 720px and a much smaller display.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and 4 more cores (although slower).
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same video quality, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and a same resolution camera, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has a larger aperture for better photos in poorly lited environments.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a much longer battery life than Galaxy Alpha, because it has an 83% larger battery size.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Alpha. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Galaxy Alpha, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
