Comparison review
The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has a score of 80.5, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Alpha's 76.3 score. Even being the best phone we compare here, the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro construction is heavier and thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Both phones we are comparing here come with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version, so it counts with some nice extra features and performance optimizations.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, although it has a way worse 1280 x 720px resolution, a lot smaller screen and a just a little less pixels per inch of screen.
The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, because it has more internal memory. The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro features a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro captures a lot better photos and videos than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro also has a camera in the back with a way better resolution and a larger aperture for better low light captures and video.
