The Moto X design is a little lighter but just a little thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Avant. These phones use Android OS, but the Moto X has a newer 4.4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Avant has Android 4.4.2 version, providing the user a couple nice extra features.
The Moto X has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Avant, because it has a higher 1280 x 720 resolution, a better display density and a bit larger screen. Moto X features a bit better performance than Galaxy Avant, because although it has a lower number of cores (but faster) and a worse graphics co-processor running at 400 megahertz, it also counts with 512 MB more RAM.
Galaxy Avant counts with a much better storage capacity to store more apps and games than Moto X, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy Avant also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 64 GB. The Moto X features just a little bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Avant, because it has a 5% larger battery size.
The Motorola Moto X takes way better photos and videos than Galaxy Avant, because it has a camera in the back with a lot better 10 MP resolution and a lot higher (Full HD) video quality.
