Galaxy J8 has a general score of 76.7, which is a bit better than the Galaxy C5's 76.4 overall score. The Galaxy J8 design is a lot newer, but somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier than the Galaxy C5. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy J8 has the previous 10 version and Galaxy C5 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
The Galaxy C5 counts with a better display than Galaxy J8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher pixel quantity per display inch and a better resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy J8 features a bit better performance than Galaxy C5. Both have a 4 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Galaxy J8 has a bit better camera than Galaxy C5, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution, the same video frame rate and the same resolution camera, the Galaxy J8 also has a bigger camera aperture to capture better photography and video in poorly lited situations. The Galaxy J8 features a slightly bigger storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy C5, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy J8 also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
Galaxy J8 has better battery lifetime than Galaxy C5, because it has a 3500mAh battery size instead of 2600mAh.
