Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact is slightly better than the Galaxy C5, with a 79 score against 76.4. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact construction is newer, but heavier and incredibly thicker than the Galaxy C5. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Galaxy C5 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, providing the user some nice extra features.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features a bit better processing unit than Galaxy C5. Both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a better looking display than Galaxy C5, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better pixel quantity in each inch of screen and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2160px.
Xperia XZ2 Compact takes much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy C5, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low-light captures and videos, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a higher resolution back facing camera. The Xperia XZ2 Compact features a bigger storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy C5, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 400 GB.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a bit superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy C5, because it has a 2870mAh battery size against 2600mAh.
