Comparison review

Galaxy C5 is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, with a 76.4 score against 75.8. The Galaxy C5 is an older device than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, but Samsung could make it noticeably lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. Both devices in this comparison use Android operating system, but Galaxy C5 has an older 6.0 Marshmallow version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a little better performance than Galaxy C5, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a display that is just as good as the display in Galaxy C5, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a bit inferior pixel count per inch of screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2160px resolution and a bigger screen.

The Samsung Galaxy C5 captures a little bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy C5 also has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better photos and video in poorly lited environments and a back camera with a much better resolution.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's storage for apps and games is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy C5 one, both have equal 64 GB internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 128 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a really longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy C5, because it has a 54 percent more battery size.
