The Samsung Galaxy C7 is slightly better than Moto G9 Play, with a 77.7 score against 76.7. The Samsung Galaxy C7 design is lighter and extremely thinner than the Moto G9 Play, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy C7 has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Moto G9 Play has Android 10 version, so it counts with lots of additional features and optimized performance.
The Samsung Galaxy C7 has a bit more vivid display than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution and a higher pixel number per display inch. Moto G9 Play counts with a bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy C7, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Moto G9 Play also has a SD card slot that admits up to 512 GB.
The Moto G9 Play and Samsung Galaxy C7 both feature very similar processors, they have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory. Motorola Moto G9 Play shoots way better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy C7, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Motorola Moto G9 Play also has a bigger diafragm aperture for better photography and videos in poorly lited environments, higher video frame rate and a camera in the back with a much better resolution.
The Moto G9 Play has a superior battery duration than Galaxy C7, because it has a 52% greater battery size.
