The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy C7, having a general score of 78.1 against 77.7. Both phones we compare here use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has the older 11 version and Samsung Galaxy C7 has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Although the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 is extremely newer than the Samsung Galaxy C7, it is just a little bit heavier and much thicker.
The Galaxy XCover 5 has a CPU that's very similar to the processor in Galaxy C7, both have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM memory amount. Samsung Galaxy C7 has a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a little larger screen, a bit greater pixels quantity in each inch of display and a better resolution of 1080 x 1920px.
Galaxy C7 and Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 feature incredibly similar cameras, and although the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has a larger aperture for better photography in poorly lited environments, they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the same video frame rates and a 16 MP camera. The Galaxy XCover 5 features a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy C7, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1 TB.
The Galaxy C7 features a little better battery life than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
