Galaxy A42 has a general score of 87, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy F41's general score of 85.2. Both of these devices come with the same Android 11 OS, so they should offer identical operating system features. Galaxy A42's design is a little bit thinner but just a little heavier than Galaxy F41, and they were released with only 1 months difference.
The Samsung Galaxy F41 features a bit better processing unit than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy F41 also has more RAM memory.
