Galaxy Fold has a global score of 97.6, which is better than the iPhone 8 Plus's global score of 87.1. Galaxy Fold's body is notably newer and a little bit thinner, but also noticeably heavier than iPhone 8 Plus. Apple iPhone 8 Plus has just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a much smaller screen and a much lower 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a bit better screen density.
Apple iPhone 8 Plus has just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has 2 lesser and slower CPU cores and less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processor. The Galaxy Fold captures a bit better photos and videos than iPhone 8 Plus, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same resolution camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Galaxy Fold also has a bigger camera aperture and a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Galaxy Fold has a way bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Fold features a much better battery life than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity instead of 2691mAh.
Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the iPhone 8 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as iPhone 8 Plus. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Fold, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the iPhone 8 Plus, giving up a couple specs and features.
