Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Fold is better than Google Pixel 4a 5G, getting a score of 97.6 against 87.5. Samsung Galaxy Fold's construction is thinner than Google Pixel 4a 5G, although it's notably heavier and was released a bit more more than a year before. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Fold has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Google Pixel 4a 5G has Android 11 version, so it provides you lots of additional features.
The Google Pixel 4a 5G has a little sharper display than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a little smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 2340px resolution, it also counts with a bit higher count of pixels per inch of screen. Samsung Galaxy Fold has just a little better performance than Google Pixel 4a 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has more RAM memory.
Galaxy Fold counts with a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because it has more internal memory. The Galaxy Fold has a bit superior battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity against 3885mAh. The Google Pixel 4a 5G has a camera that's very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Fold one, because although the Google Pixel 4a 5G has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for shooting photographs and/or video in low-light environments, and they both have a 0.39 inches back camera sensor, the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, it also counts with a more mega pixels camera in the back.
Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Google Pixel 4a 5G, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 4a 5G. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Google Pixel 4a 5G, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
