Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Fold is just a bit better than the Google Pixel 5, getting a score of 97.6 against 89. Samsung Galaxy Fold is an older and notably heavier cellphone than Google Pixel 5, but Samsung managed to build it thinner anyway. The Galaxy Fold has a bit faster CPU than Google Pixel 5, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy Fold also has 4 GB more RAM.
Google Pixel 5 features a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little worse 1080 x 2340px resolution, it also counts with a little bit greater pixel density. Galaxy Fold counts with a very superior storage for games and applications than Google Pixel 5, because it has 384 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold features a little longer battery life than Google Pixel 5, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Fold and the Google Pixel 5 count with incredibly similar cameras, because although the Google Pixel 5 has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for taking pictures or videos in low light environments, and they both have the same video quality, a same size camera sensor and the same 60 frames per second video frame rates, it also counts with a camera in the back with more megapixels.
Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel 5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 5. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Fold, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel 5, giving up some specifications.
