Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a global score of 97.6, which is way better than the HTC One M9's global score of 77.7. The Samsung Galaxy Fold design is a lot newer and thinner, but also heavier than the HTC One M9. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Fold has 9.0 Pie version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version, providing you a lot of extra features.
HTC One M9 has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Fold, because although it has 9 GB lesser RAM, and they both have 8 processing cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with an additional graphics processing unit and a 64-bit CPU. The HTC One M9 counts with a brighter screen than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a much smaller screen and a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a bit greater pixels number in each display inch.
Galaxy Fold features just a bit better camera than HTC One M9, because although it has a tinier sensor taking less light and duller colors, a camera with a way lower 12 MP resolution and a lower 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with a lot bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light images.
The Galaxy Fold features a much greater memory for games and applications than HTC One M9, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a very superior battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 54% more battery size.
Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more money than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC One M9. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Fold, else you can save some money and get the HTC One M9, resigning a couple features and specifications.
