Comparison review
The Galaxy Fold is better than the Huawei P40, having a 97.6 score against 86.4. Although Galaxy Fold and Huawei P40 were released with only 6 months difference, Galaxy Fold's construction is way heavier but also somewhat thinner than Huawei P40. Both devices in this comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Fold has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei P40 has Android 10 version.
Samsung Galaxy Fold features a bit faster processing unit than Huawei P40, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has more RAM. Huawei P40 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little more pixels per screen inch.
The Huawei P40 captures better photographs and videos than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a lot smaller aperture, and they both have the same 60 fps video frame rates and the same video definition, the Huawei P40 also counts with a way better resolution camera in the back and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor.
The Galaxy Fold has much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei P40, because it has 512 GB internal memory. Galaxy Fold has a little longer battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P40. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Fold, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei P40, letting go a couple features and specs.
