Comparison review
Galaxy Fold has a global score of 97.6, which is way better than Huawei P40 Lite's 79.5 global score. The Galaxy Fold design is heavier but incredibly thinner than Huawei P40 Lite, and both were released with only a couple of months difference. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Fold has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10 version.
The Huawei P40 Lite has a slightly better display than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2310 pixels and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little better pixel amount in each inch in the display. The Samsung Galaxy Fold features a superior memory to install applications and games than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy Fold counts with a little better hardware performance than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Fold also has 6 GB more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a little better battery life than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a 4% greater battery capacity.
Huawei P40 Lite takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Fold, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rates and a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low light photos and video, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a back camera with lot more mega-pixels and a much larger back-facing camera sensor.
Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P40 Lite. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Fold, else you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei P40 Lite, letting go some features and specifications.
