Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Fold is much better than LG G8 ThinQ, with a 97.6 score against 84.3. Both of these phones come with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (Operating System). Samsung Galaxy Fold's design is somewhat thinner but noticeably heavier than the LG G8 ThinQ, and they were released only a few months apart.

LG G8 ThinQ features a more vivid screen than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution and a lot greater pixels density. Samsung Galaxy Fold has just a bit more memory capacity for apps and games than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 384 GB more internal memory.

The Galaxy Fold has a bit better performance than LG G8 ThinQ, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy Fold also has 6 GB more RAM. Samsung Galaxy Fold features superior battery life than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy Fold captures clearer pictures and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, and although they both have a same size aperture, the same video frame rate, the same video resolution and a same resolution back-facing camera, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has a larger camera sensor capturing better quality pictures.

Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G8 ThinQ. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Fold, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the LG G8 ThinQ, letting go a couple features and specifications.
