Comparison review

Galaxy Fold has a general score of 97.6, which is a lot better than LG Q70's 77.9 global score. Both phones we compare here use Android operating system, but Galaxy Fold has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while LG Q70 has Android 10 version, offering a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements. Even though the Galaxy Fold and LG Q70 were released only 7 months apart, Galaxy Fold's design is heavier but also thinner than LG Q70.

LG Q70 has a screen that's just as good as the Galaxy Fold one, because although the LG Q70 has a quite smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2310 pixels, it also counts with a quite better screen pixels density. The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a bit better processing power than LG Q70, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has a higher amount of RAM.

LG Q70 counts with a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light photography, worse 30 fps video frame rate and a tinier sensor offering a worse image quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the LG Q70 also counts with a much higher resolution back facing camera.

Galaxy Fold features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than LG Q70, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Fold features a little longer battery performance than LG Q70, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG Q70, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG Q70. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy LG Q70, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
