Both of these devices use Android OS, but the Galaxy Fold has newer 9.0 Pie version and LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat version, so it gives a lot of extra features. Galaxy Fold's design is noticeably newer and thinner than LG Q8's, but it is also extremely heavier.
