Comparison review

The Galaxy Fold is a lot better than the LG V40 ThinQ, getting a general score of 97.6 against 81.2. Galaxy Fold's body is newer and just a bit thinner than the LG V40 ThinQ's, although it is also a lot heavier. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Fold has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and LG V40 ThinQ has Android 10, so it provides you some additional features and performance tweaks.

The LG V40 ThinQ has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and a greater screen pixels density. Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a way bigger memory to install applications and games than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a little faster processor than LG V40 ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has a larger amount of RAM. LG V40 ThinQ features a camera that's very similar to the camera in Samsung Galaxy Fold, and although the LG V40 ThinQ has a tinier back camera sensor capturing less light and washed colors, they both have a back facing camera with a 12 mega pixels, the same aperture, the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold has longer battery life than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 33 percent bigger battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG V40 ThinQ. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get LG V40 ThinQ, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
