The Galaxy Fold is a lot better than the Microsoft Surface Duo, getting a 97.6 score against 78.8. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Fold has newer 9.0 Pie version and Microsoft Surface Duo has Android 10 version, providing the user some extra features and performance tweaks. The Galaxy Fold is an older, noticeably thicker and a little heavier phone than the Microsoft Surface Duo.

The Galaxy Fold features a bit better CPU than Microsoft Surface Duo, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Fold also has more RAM memory. Microsoft Surface Duo has a bit better display than Galaxy Fold, because it has a better 1800 x 2700px resolution, a little bit better pixels density and a little bit bigger screen.

Galaxy Fold features much more memory to install applications and games than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has 512 GB internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a superior camera than Microsoft Surface Duo, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has a way bigger aperture for better low light captures and videos and a camera with a better 12 mega pixels resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Fold has greater battery performance than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more than Microsoft Surface Duo, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Microsoft Surface Duo. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Fold, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Microsoft Surface Duo, letting go a couple specifications.
