Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Fold is much better than the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, having a general score of 97.6 against 85.3. Even though Samsung Galaxy Fold is older and somewhat thicker than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, it's design is still a little bit lighter. Both devices we compare here work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Fold has newer 9.0 Pie version while Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has Android 11, so it offers lots of additional features.

The Galaxy Fold has a little better performance than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Fold also has a greater amount of RAM. Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with a slightly better looking display than Galaxy Fold, because it has a quite larger display, a bit greater number of pixels in each display inch and a better resolution of 1892 x 2688 pixels.

Galaxy Fold captures slightly better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and although they both have a 12 MP resolution camera, the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 60 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy Fold also has a larger diafragm aperture to take better low light captures.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a way bigger storage to store more games and applications than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because it has 4449mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is way more expensive than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Microsoft Surface Duo 2. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Fold, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, letting go some specs and features.
