Galaxy Fold is just a bit better than the Motorola edge, having a 97.6 score against 89.6. These phones come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Fold has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Motorola edge has Android 10 version. Even though the Galaxy Fold and the Motorola edge were released with only a few months difference, Galaxy Fold's construction is much heavier but also extremely thinner.
Motorola edge counts with a screen that is very similar to Samsung Galaxy Fold's screen, because although the Motorola edge has a little smaller screen and a bit worse 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a little better display pixels density. The Galaxy Fold has just a bit better processing power than Motorola edge, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy Fold also has 6 GB more RAM.
Motorola edge features a bit bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Fold, because although it has just 256 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1000 GB. Motorola edge features a bit superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Fold, because it has a 3% greater battery size.
Motorola edge has a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for low light photos and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Motorola edge also counts with a much larger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality and a much higher resolution back facing camera.
Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Motorola edge, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola edge. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Fold, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Motorola edge, giving up a couple features and specs.
