Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Fold has a general score of 97.6, which is much better than Moto G8 Power's global score of 76. Both devices we compare here have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Fold has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Moto G8 Power has Android 10, so it offers a couple nice extra features and improved performance. Although Samsung Galaxy Fold and the Moto G8 Power were only released with a few months difference, Samsung Galaxy Fold's body is incredibly heavier but much thinner.

The Moto G8 Power and Galaxy Fold count with very similar displays, because although the Moto G8 Power has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2300 and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit greater screen pixel density. Galaxy Fold has a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold features a bit superior CPU than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has more RAM memory. The Motorola Moto G8 Power features a bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.

The Galaxy Fold shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 video definition and a much worse 12 megapixels resolution camera, it also counts with a bigger sensor providing a better image quality and a bigger camera aperture.

Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Motorola Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Moto G8 Power. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Motorola Moto G8 Power, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
