Comparison review
The Galaxy Fold is much better than Galaxy A40, with a 97.6 score against 79.6. Even though the Galaxy Fold and the Galaxy A40 were released only 6 months apart, the Galaxy Fold body is incredibly heavier but somewhat thinner than the Galaxy A40. Both devices we compare here come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Fold has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy A40 has Android 11, so it provides a couple additional features.
Samsung Galaxy Fold features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy A40 has a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a little lower 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
Samsung Galaxy Fold has a much greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 4380mAh battery size instead of 3100mAh.
The Galaxy Fold captures a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a way less MP camera in the back, it also counts with a bigger sensor shooting better quality videos and pictures, a larger diafragm aperture and a way higher 3840x2160 video quality.
