Comparison review
The Galaxy Fold has a global score of 97.6, which is much better than Galaxy M30's 82.4 global score. The Galaxy Fold design is somewhat thinner but heavier than Galaxy M30, and both were released only 7 months apart. Both devices in our current comparison include the same Android 9.0 Pie operating system, so you shouldn't see any differences regarding OS features.
Galaxy M30 counts with a display that is very similar to the screen in Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although the Galaxy M30 has a little bit smaller display and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of display. Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a bit faster CPU than Galaxy M30, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy Fold has a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy M30, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage. Galaxy Fold takes much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy M30, because although it has a less MP resolution back camera, it also counts with a way larger aperture for better captures in low light environments, a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Galaxy M30 features just a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy Fold, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
