Comparison review
Galaxy Fold has a global score of 97.6, which is much better than the Galaxy M40's global score of 85. These devices come with Android OS, but Galaxy Fold has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy M40 has Android 10 version, giving some extra features and improved performance. The Galaxy Fold design is much heavier but thinner than Galaxy M40, and they were released with only 3 months difference.
Samsung Galaxy Fold features a bit better processing unit than Galaxy M40, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy M40 features a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a little smaller screen and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2340px, it also counts with a quite higher pixels quantity in each inch in the display.
Galaxy Fold has much more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy M40, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy M40 captures slightly better photographs and videos than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting photos and/or video in low-light environments, a tinier camera sensor shooting lower quality pictures and lower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same video definition, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a way more MP back-facing camera.
The Galaxy Fold has superior battery performance than Galaxy M40, because it has a 4380mAh battery capacity.
