Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a general score of 97.6, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G's 93.6 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy Fold body is heavier but somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, and both were released only 4 months apart. Both phones we compare here work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Fold has 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has Android 11, providing a lot of extra features and increased performance.
Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1440 x 3040 and a greater pixel density. The Galaxy Fold has a bit superior processor than Galaxy S10 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Fold also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G's camera is just as good as Samsung Galaxy Fold's camera, both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the same video frame rates, the same sensor size, the same aperture and a same resolution camera. Samsung Galaxy Fold has a much greater memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, because it has 256 GB more internal memory.
Galaxy S10 5G features a little longer battery duration than Galaxy Fold, because it has a 3% greater battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S10 5G, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S10 5G. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Fold, otherwise you can save some money and get the Galaxy S10 5G, letting go a couple features and specifications.
