Comparison review
The Galaxy Fold is better than Galaxy S8, having a general score of 97.6 against 81.7. Galaxy Fold's body is noticeably newer and somewhat thinner, but also a lot heavier than the Galaxy S8. The Samsung Galaxy Fold features a little better processing power than Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has more RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per screen inch and a little higher 1440 x 2960 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Fold shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a 0.39 inches back-facing camera sensor and a same resolution back facing camera, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has better 60 fps video frame rate and a larger camera aperture to capture better low light captures and videos.
Samsung Galaxy Fold has a very superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S8. If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Galaxy S8, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
