Comparison review
The Galaxy Fold is much better than Galaxy S8 Active, getting a 97.6 score against 81.9. Galaxy Fold's construction is notably newer and much thinner, but also notably heavier than Galaxy S8 Active. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a better display than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a way higher screen pixels density and a quite better 1440 x 2960 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Fold has a very superior storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Fold features a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has a greater amount of RAM.
Galaxy Fold has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have a same size camera sensor, a 12 megapixels back-facing camera and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Galaxy Fold also has faster 60 fps video frame rate and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photography in low-light situations.
Galaxy Fold has a bit better battery life than Galaxy S8 Active, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S8 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S8 Active. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Fold, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy S8 Active, letting go a couple specifications.
