Comparison review
The Galaxy Fold is slightly better than the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, getting a 97.6 score against 92.3. Galaxy Fold's construction is just a bit thinner than the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, but it is a lot heavier and was released around 11 months before. These devices have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Fold has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy Z Flip 5G has Android 11.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G counts with a bit better CPU than Galaxy Fold, although it has 4 GB lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Galaxy Z Flip 5G has just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a little smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2636px, it also counts with a little higher pixel density.
Samsung Galaxy Fold has much more memory for games and applications than Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because it has 256 GB more internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G and Galaxy Fold feature incredibly similar cameras, and although the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a tinier aperture which is worse for shooting images in low light environments, they both have the same 60 fps video frame rates, a same resolution back facing camera, a 0.39 inches back-facing camera sensor and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
The Galaxy Fold features greater battery life than Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because it has a 33% larger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Fold, else you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, giving up a couple features and specs.
